After you contact me and, if necessary, briefly discuss your concerns, we will schedule an appointment for an initial consultation. This is provided that I currently have available therapy slots and that your concerns are compatible with my expertise and focus.

Who do you work with?

I offer support to adults (18+) dealing with depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, burnout, life crises, grief, and personal development.

A particular focus lies on women and their specific issues, such as hormonal challenges or transitions (e.g. PMS/PMDD, menopause), fertility concerns, miscarriage, pregnancy, postpartum anxiety or depression, and major life transitions (e.g. becoming a mother, retirement, separation).

I also support women with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adulthood – through psychoeducation on neurodivergence, diagnostic support, coaching, and psychotherapy focusing on self-worth, grief, emotional regulation, and comorbidities such as depression and anxiety.

Please note that if a topic lies outside my area of expertise, I will refer you to qualified colleagues or institutions.

Where is the practice and how do I get there?

My practice is located at Alsegger Straße 26/4 in the 18th district and is easily accessible by public transportation (tram lines 40 and 41) and by car. There is usually ample parking in the surrounding area – please remember to purchase a parking ticket. The practice is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.

Was passiert im Erstgespräch?

Psychotherapie ist ein Heilverfahren, bei dem die therapeutische Beziehung eine zentrale Rolle spielt. Daher ist es wichtig, dass wir einander kennenlernen und gemeinsam prüfen, ob wir uns eine vertrauensvolle Zusammenarbeit vorstellen können. Im Erstgespräch informiere ich Sie über meine Person, Qualifikationen, Arbeitsweise sowie über gesetzliche und organisatorische Rahmenbedingungen.

Selbstverständlich haben Sie Raum für Ihre Fragen. Ein zentraler Bestandteil des Erstgesprächs ist die Klärung Ihres Anliegens und Ihrer Therapieziele. Dies umfasst z.B. eine Beschreibung der aktuellen Situation und der belastenden Symptome, soweit diese benannt werden können.

Aufgrund des zeitlichen Rahmens werden wahrscheinlich nicht alle Themen genug Beachtung finden, vielmehr möchte ich aber verstehen, worum es Ihnen grundsätzlich geht und ob ich die richtige Psychotherapeutin für Ihr Anliegen bin. Ob eine Psychotherapie oder eine Beratung der richtige Rahmen ist, kann auch im Erstgespräch besprochen werden.
